Observation 2

Site/Named: Snow king

Date:5/7/8

Time: 4:30

Temperature: 52 deg

Weather: cloudy and raining

Wind : high

Soil: moddy

Hypothesis:

Since the last observation I did the population of crows desapear in the aftenoon because of the rain that fall all over the place. None of the communities of animals appear at that time. although the community of plants look like that they enjoy the fresh water that fell out of the sky. The soil change from dry to moddy in a pinch. After the rain stop a small bird was singing alone. All abiotic factors were there and only one organisms took the hole place to himself. The grass look more green and healthy because of the rain and soil. my hypothesis is that as more rain fall and the soil stay moody more plnts will appear and animals will appear as well.

Good observations, especially about how the rain impacted your area! Also, you did a nice job of incorporating some of the ecology concepts such as niche. In your next observations see if you can see any competition for resources, like food and water, since you say that they are scarce! Good job!
